Juan joined the Thomas Klein team in July 2018 as Project Assistant upon finalizing his studies in Switzerland, where he obtained a Bachelor of International Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Culinary Arts jointly from Cesar Ritz Colleges Switzerland and The University of Derby in the United Kingdom. 

Previous to joining Thomas Klein, Juan worked in a variety of restaurants, mostly in Switzerland, from Fine Dining to Farm-to-Table, receiving training from leading figures from the Hotel Ritz Paris and Michelin-starred chef Anton Mosimann. He now hopes to blend this knowledge and apply it to the more technical side of hospitality consultancy.

Juan speaks English, Spanish and Italian fluently, and has moderate speaking skills in French and Russian thanks to his upbringing in Europe, and parts of Asia and Africa. This diversity has molded an open mind and flexible character, coupled with his enriching exposure to various cultures and practices from around the world.

As Project Coordinator, Juan supports the design and research team, striving to tackle any project and challenge with unwavering dedication and a fresh approach.
